The CCC has stopped all cyclic weed killing (annual spraying). Residents across the County have asked what can be done, the Conservative group will present a motion to full Council on 18th October. If you agree that the state of the roads, paths and cycleways are unacceptable please sign and circulate a petition this is the link https://shorturl.at/dkFTZ. Or consider writing as a Parish objecting to this change of policy.
Staploe Education Trust: Kennett Village School. After consultation the decision has been taken to retain the PAN at 15 Pupils for 24 – 25 reception intake. Relocation and enlargement of the School to the new site in KGV is Planned for September 2024. The purpose build School will increase capacity from 99 to 210 incrementally.
Neighbourhood Planning in East Cambridgeshire – August 2023
The Dept. for ‘Levelling Up’ has extended the support programme for a 6th year and will continue to offer grants and Technica lsupport packages to Neighbourhood Planning Groups.
